"Love this place. Very convenient for the airport with a nice pool and sun loungers. Sadly the restaurant next door has closed since our last visit but Pingo Doce supermarket is only a short walk for a picnic or they have a cafe. Only improvement would be a kettle in the room!"

"I don’t know anything about the property. I booked the place by mistake via Expedia, and neither the hotel nor Expedia offered any financial relief. It cost 3 days/nights. Instead of the hotel trying to track me down, it was simpler to just register me as a no show and charge for 3 nights."

"Great place for a family - beach within a short walking distance, several pools and a playground to keep kids entertained. Staff are lovely, we had a great stay, our second time there. Took a couple of days and a few requests to get a highchair though and never received coffee pods for the machine despite asking a few times. "A lovely hotel; all the staff were efficient and friendly. We felt welcomed and valued as guests with water, wine and a fruit plate on arrival ( late night arrival).
Sonia, the golf concierge, was superb; arranging golf booking but also answering all my questions about club hire etc… pre-arrival. She is an asset to the hotel.
The grounds are wonderful and maintained well. Pools are clean with one heated. Location between beach and marina offers options for walks.

Ansonsten hat man keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ein Auto ist ratsam, wie überall hier in der Gegend. Das Hotel ist sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Sehr schöne Poolanlage. "

"The ultimate escape to real luxury with genuinely fine people. I loved the restored 19th-century palace with very spacious and sleek bedrooms that opened up to individual, private patios fronted by lovely gardens and singing birds. The swimming pool was fresh water, and if you got chilly in the spring weather you could jump into the steam room or sauna. Views of the countryside from the terraces were spectacular.
