"We had a lovely 5 night short break at Les Roquettes. The hotel is so clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. We had breakfast every morning and it was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of St Peter Port, but there is a courtesy shuttle bus and the 41/42 public bus stops right outside. We used the leisure centre most days which was an additional bonus. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Guernsey!"
"Nice enough. Some staff really great and some not much. Not keen on system for the swimming pool - have to ask for a key each time and sign a waiver! Stopped me using it. Restaurant is good. Good breakfast and dinner is good and decent prices compared to the town. Loved the open park in front of the hotel for walks, running and exercises."
"Well maintained room, cleaned every day. Really good WiFi. Friendly checking. Although over 3 hours early able to go straight to room as was available. Courtyard was great place to have a drink at the end of the day"
"Loved our room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful bay.
The catering for the Sunday gig was delicious as was the breakfast and all food .
The staff were so helpful and efficient"
"Staff were efficient and friendly - very willing to help and always with good humour.
Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. We were always ready for a rest and a drink after climbing the hill from the town !! (we could have taken a taxi)"
"The room and en-suite were lovely - beautifully appointed and very quiet. Just what we needed. The staff went out of their way to help. There are three car parks and we had no trouble parking. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of food for every taste.
There are three restaurants, The Ocean, The Steak House and Buho (serving Mexican food). Sadly, The Ocean was only open one night during our four night stay as the fish dishes there were excellent. Seemed such a shame as Guernsey is famous for it's seafood. One niggle about The Steak House: the red wine was served warm - but the staff did provide some crushed ice to help!
One point not related to the hotel but one to note - although parking everywhere is free you need to display a time clock on your dashboard to show what time you arrived in the car park and car parks are divided into different length stays. Be warned! We had no idea how this operated and found that you can buy the clocks (£6)either from the Tourist Information Bureau or the Police Station.
All in all, a lovely hotel and a beautiful island to visit."
