"Great property spa and outdoor areas beautiful. We enjoyed the lounge but did not eat on property. Golf course and 19 clubhouse both excellent too with top gold driving range and mini putt. 9 pound cab ride back from town and you can walk down in about 20 minutes."
"Loved the Hotel, staff were great, enjoyed breakfast. Room was excellent with panoramic views. Only below standard thing in my view was the bathroom. Although clean and tidy it was in need of a refurb. It was dated and tired."
"Big and airy room was ideal for a relaxed stay. I doubted the advice of the chap at reception on the restaurant getting very busy but he was absolutely correct so I was pleased to get a table for some very decent pub grub. Nice breakfast too."
"Beautiful property, well furnished rooms with friendly & helpful staff.
While I would fully recommend the property, it was disappointing to turn up and find no availability at the spa despite staying three nights/four days. Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid). The option is there to take the service charge off but in my view, it is not a comfortable checkout experience."
"The Duke is kept spotless, our room was immaculate! The staff were attentive and helpful. The menus offer a good selection with vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drink options too. The patio was a nice spot for a drink!"
"Everything was perfect, staff friendly, very well dressed. Breakfast was excellent.
Only criticism was shower strength was poor. Good job I’ve got no hair 😊😀"
