"I will start with the positives. My king bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely quiet and clean. The hotel was by far the least expensive in a road populated with at least 6 (?) other hotels and was extremely convenient to Syracuse University, I-90 and the airport. You get what you pay for and I believe this room was a great value, particularly on SU graduation weekend. I would stay there again.
The negatives: There was never anyone at the front desk all weekend. When I arrived at 6 pm Friday, I waited 20 minutes (and pressed the call button) and I could not find anyone to check me in. I did not have my cell phone with me and thus could not call the number that was there as an alternative. NOTE bring your cell phone. I do think the front desk person uses that phone when he is…wherever he is. After dinner the call button worked and I got checked in.
The next negative is not a front-end problem, but rather (I think) an Expedia problem. My room description stated that breakfast was provided. That is absolutely not true. In fact there is not even coffee in the hotel. No coffee makers in the room and none in the lobby. I found a nice local diner and got myself caffeinated in short order.
Finally, the internet is free, but extremely unstable. It cut out every minute or so."
