Motel tại Town of Fairfield

"The property was great for what I needed it for: a cheap place close to the Herkimer Diamond Mine (about 10 minutes). It is dated, but you expect that with the price. The worst part was the AC did not work super great, although not bad enough to tell someone. It was very clean, and staff was friendly, although they did seem annoyed with how late we showed. Love the little kitchen nook but wish it had a coffee maker."

"I reserved a room in April for June 6 and 7. We get the 15 minutes after check in time and told there are no rooms. I told the lady I had a reservation and she says "no room". We did this a few times figuring she thought I was looking to book. Getting frustrated, I went back to my car to show her the reservation confirmation. That's when I see an email from Expedia saying they can't accommodate me. The email was sent about 20 minutes before check in time. This is the second year in a row...

"arrived to check in on July 25, 2025 and found motel closed and out of business. no one contacted me from Hotels.com or Motel 6 in Llion, NY to inform me that the hotel closed since I booked it in December 2024. Had to make other arrangements since it was the baseball hall of fame weekend and no other hotels were available. stayed one hour and a half from Cooperstown, NY."

"The room was clean except the toilet seat had sticky stuff on it. It did wash off fine. It was bare bones but worth the cost. It did have a small microwave, mini frig and newer type TV. It was a bit drafty and in the morning I could see light coming from around the door. But the heater kept the room warm. All in all for the price I paid per night was worth it. I would recommend it to someone just looking for a bed and no frills. "
