"The sweet lady who checked us in was very friendly and gave us two complimentary bottles of water upon check-in. The room seemed clean enough. I appreciated the little bottles of mouthwash which most places don't provide. But I can't get past the smell of the room, in particular the bathroom. It seems like it was perhaps a smoking motel at one time and the smell is lingering in the walls or something. But it seems the current owners are doing their best with upkeep. "Filthy. Reeked of cigarettes (reserved "non smoking") so bad it stung my nostrils. I had to leave all my luggage in the car so that it wouldn't all stink the next day. Stained mattress cover, super thin sheets. Burned out main light, wifi didn't work, a/c had no controls, Floors and walls were dirty. When I complained about the smell, the owner/manager handed me a can of Febreze. When I asked for a different room I was told they were sold out; I stayed 1 night (Fri-Sat) and never saw more than 3...

"Lights I. The room flickered. Dirty and bloody bed sheets. Bathroom was a dirty wreck."
