Oaks is in a great spot, close to the new NRL stadium, city centre, restaurants and bars.
Our room was really tired and could use an update. The room didn't have a nice smell when you walked in, the carpets have ripples in it and had come away from the joins at the kitchen and balcony doors. The air conditioner was leaking water everywhere, but they did get that fixed the following day.
we had a room on the main road side and the noise was very loud, not just from traffic but from people yelling and screaming until the early hours of the morning.
I'd request a room on the other side of the building.
All in all it was ok, but needs a bit of money spent on it.
