"This was my favorite accommodation in Japan. It was very cozy and made me feel home. We had the Sennari room. There were 4 beds in two rooms but we only used two. There was a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink with dishes/soap, washer/dryer, kitchen table, sofa. It was two levels with bedrooms upstairs. We never saw our host. It was self check in with a code. It was located in a great area. We were able to walk to and from the train with our luggage. There were several restaurants and shopping very...

"I booked this stay for the first day of the Takayama Autumn Festival so of course the price was crazy high. My issue is that the hotel was supposed to send an email with check in instructions 24 hours in advance, which didn’t happen. Upon arriving at the address after a long day of travel, I had no idea how to get into the room or even who to contact. There was only a sign with a phone number and when I tried calling it, it wouldn’t go through. Finally, I went to a local café owner and asked...

"It’s clean , spacious, warm and neat but hope they add little more value for place for the price we pay. what you bed was very uncomfortable and pillow was very small square size. Blanket was small for two ppl. There was Nescafé machine but can’t use because no capsul available. Wishing to have towel change service everyday . "

"とても快適でした、ありがとうございます！"

"ドライヤーのコードの接続不良で、電源が入ったり切れたりの繰り返しで困った。 通りに面している部屋だったので、騒音が気になった。"

"Good location close to train station, easy to go around and walking distance to old town. Large comfortable room."

"It was a bit funky place, but it was spacious for 4 people. The sink in the bathroom was so tiny that I had to use the kitchen sink to do the normal stuff. There aren't any stores around, and it was a 10-minute walk to the nearest convenience store. If not driving, it is not a very convenient location, but it is walkable to/from the JR Toyoshina station. I didn't think it was worth the cost (about $300 for 1 night), but it was during the mid-August travel time in Japan."

"アメニティも揃っていて、非常に快適でした。"

"Great location to Happo One, bit outdated inside, clean, no housekeeping during stay"
