"This wonderful hotel features both a GREAT location and historical ambience. I hate picking on them about running out of shower caps to enjoy their magnificent rain showers, I should have remembered my own. This was a fantastic experience and we loved this hotel."

"Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no safety deposit box in the room and they did not provide hand towels. But this was fixed by asking for an extra towel at the front desk which we used for the duration of our stay. There was also only one pillow per person."

"Decent location, nice staff, strange decor/style which seemed to really date the property. The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. The bathroom curtains are very sheer and so it was extremely hot in the bathroom, even at 10am with the blazing sun on a high floor. It was 30 degrees C during our 1 night stay in May so quite miserable sleeping/showering."

But for the price point the bathroom and room amenities were disappointing (no coffee maker, no mini fridge, bathroom had one of those tubs with no glass or curtain so water got everywhere when you showered). Location is great. But was disappointed by the room, despite the gorgeous view."
