"I stayed at the new Annex so everything is nice and Zen. There are no toiletries so please take note. It is really just opposite of Neuchatel station separated by a small road. If I were to nickpick, I hope that they can rotate at least one of the dishes at breakfast. I stayed facing the river. Oh, it has air conditioning that works how you want it to be so it will be great for Summer."

"This hotel is amazing. It is about 20 minutes from Neuchatel at the bottom of a gorge by a river. The location is peaceful and scenic.
The staff here are superbly hospitable.
The room was very spacious and clean with a big bathroom. If you are wondering about the lack of curtains (there are net curtains), you need to use the shutters which are very effective.
Our evening meal was delicious and the service excellent.

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel de l’Ecluse. The property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent for exploring Neuchâtel, especially the lakefront, the Collegiate Church, and the castle area, all within easy walking distance.

The hotel is based on providing a wonderful spa experience. We didn't get a massage but used the sauna's, indoor [colder] pool, the outdoor [hotter] water pool with multiple water jets, and the lounge rooms and loved them all.

"Uniek was het verblijf in een gemoderniseerd middeleeuws kasteel. Uitstekende parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. Vriendelijk en voorkomend personeel. Het restaurant is uitstekend, ook de wijnen. Goed en gevarieerd ontbijt.
De rustige omgeving draagt bij aan een rustieke charme. Daarenboven zijn toeristische uitjes bij de meren van Neuchâtel en Murten vlakbij.
Minder goed vonden wij het ontbreken van een scheer/vergrootspiegel . Wij konden geen waardering opbrengen voor de gedateerde en hoog...
