This was a nightmare i booked in the evening and recieved confirmation. I arrived within checkin period. The place was pitch black completely dark as if shut down. front gate was chained locked. I attempted to knock and use intercom no response from place itself , no response at all. I attempted to call multiple times kept going to voice mail. Devastated and stranded because treasure beach is in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night i was left to scramble find somewhere to go after in the night as i was already tired and just wanted to finally rest in my accommadation. I was previously at another hotel the day before and had a wonderful time i regret my decision to leave that first property to explore others. After much debate with the inital customer care rep..hotel also didnt answer tjeir calls .i was able to get my full refund from the manager from travel website who understood my distress and the precarious position i was left in. Later that night i recieved a call after checkin period ended just saying hotel was not available for me. Another poor move on behalf of the hotel no reason was given just simply that. Although the outside looked well kept and pictures online im not sure what is in there .but i will never try to go there again and i hope they never leave another person stranded at least answer the phone!

My daughters and I stayed at Marblue Villa Suites for eight days, including New Year's day. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Andrea and Axel were good hosts, assisting with needed information or tours. They made great recommendations for tours and restaurants. Breakfast every morning was delicious, thanks to Axel. I had one of the best massages of my life, with Joshua who comes to Marblue. We did not rent a car and we easily walked to local restaurants and beachside bars. Jake's for sunset was a favorite. The town is full of friendly locals and some tourists. It is very low key and we felt safe walking as three women. Mostly what we appreciated about Marblue was the beauty, peace and tranquility of the place. The whole place is elegantly simple and set in a perfect, quiet, natural location. The beach is stunning and can be seen and heard from any room, hammock and the pool. You can sit or wade in the sea directly in front of Marblue. There is good swimming by walking five minutes east or west. Some days we saw 8 people at most on the entire span of beach. It is incredible. We hope to return to this special place.

Nice place, great people

Staff are very nice, every one is friendly and willing to help. The owners happen to be there the week we were there and they were very very sweet, made me tea every morning delivered to my room and breakfast in the dinning area, Place is clean and very very comfy, they do not serv anything but breakfast and they need a micro wave in the rooms, other than that the place is very nice and comfy

The property was great and well maintained. The pool was clean and nice. The room was fantastic- spacious with nice furnishings and an open porch that overlooked the pool and ocean. The property was right on the ocean and a convenient walk down the beach to local restaurants. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable in the area and at the villa.

The pictures are pretty but the design of these villas is totally wrong for the tropics. The "living area" of the room between the bedroom and pool is totally useless because it is a HOT concrete cave with low roof. No ventilation. This property lies on a very breezy coastal area. The design of the rooms were not made to accommodate this so the rooms are hot saunas. Treasure Beach is a sunny area. Yet instead of using solar water heaters, the owners chose large electrical water heaters - which are in the room making for an eyesore as well as stealing away valuable floor space in the bedroom - as well as wasting ue amounts of energy. The shower was designed poorly so the water and runs out the bathroom, across the corridor and under the wardrobe. Very bad design. The slope in the shower is totally wrong. When I told the housekeeper about it she clearly knew it was an existing problem and simply brought more towels to soak up the water running out the bathroom. There is only one tiny garbage bin in the bathroom. There IS NOT ONE BIN on property. The instruction in the shared kitchen is to find your own plastic bag and leave the garbage in an open area under the sink. This seems very unhygenic to me. I am certain that not having covered bins in a kitchen is some violation of local health and sanitation laws. We were told to buy and bring our own ice because Treasure Beach runs out of ice. Ein zu Hause in der Karibik

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen und entspannen. Unser Appartment (Pineapple)war sehr gut eingerichtet, mit Allem was man zum täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Die Abende sind sehr gemütlich auf der Terrasse mit schönen Meeres Rauschen im Hintergrund. In der Nähe befindet sich ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants. Immer ansprechbar waren die Besitzer Andrea und Axel und standen stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ebenso aufmerksam und freundlich waren immer alle Angestellten. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und werden diesen Ort inklusive des Haus Hundes Mausi sehr vermissen . Einen Aufenthalt dort können wir absolut empfehlen.

Amazing Hotel with Beach view.

We were warmly greeted by the Owner Andrea and felt at home right away. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing ocean view. The walk into town for shopping and restaurants was a short 10 minutes. Very relaxing hotel.

Great Stay

Had a nice stay at Marblue. Very intimate place that's quiet and fulfills ones needs with rooms, pool and grounds. Had a terrific dinner there as well. Location was fine for us. Could walk a number of beaches as well as places to eat and drink.

Ich war im Marblue 7 Tage und muss sagen dieses kleine von Deutschen geführte Hotel hat echt Charme. Das Personal liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und das Essen ist einfach nur hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind alle auf dem neuesten Stand und haben alle Meerblick sowie Safe und Kühlschrank. Die Anlage hat 2 Pools und liegt direkt am Strand. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Quaint peaceful escape

I hate to write this review as my husband and I loved our stay here. We want to keep this peaceful escape as a secret so we can return without much being changed. We ventured to Treasure Beach (2-2.5hr taxi ride) after getting married in Negril and needed a quiet escape to recuperate from the festivities. We opted to get the suite with it's own private plunge pool. The kitchen with a fridge was convenient for drinks and snacks but we didn't cook while there. We were fortunate as there was only one other room taken while we were there (it was in the off season). We felt like we had entire place to ourselves. We ate dinner here on our 1st night-this was cooked and prepared by one of the owners. It was made to order, a fresh and delicious fish dish. Breakfasts were also made to order and delicious as well. The beach is rocky but there are areas for swimming & cooling off. The rooms and pools at Marblue are clean and well tended to. The staff and their dog are very kind and friendly. We cannot rave enough about this hidden gem and its staff. We definitely plan on returning here.

MarBlue, a piece of Heaven

I cannot speak highly enough about my stay at MarBlue, or heap enough praise on the good people who own the resort and work there. Right off the bat, Axel and Andrea were extremely accommodating when I arrived hours before check-in. The room was made up immediately, and Axel and Andrea even upgraded me to a room with air conditioning after I mentioned my confusion about which amenities were included according to Hotels.com. At one point I feared I had an issue with a tooth, and Andrea immediately pulled up contact information for three different dentists in three different towns. They were accommodating, generous, kind and helpful, the views were beautiful, and everyone who worked there, especially Roxanne, who took care of my room and checked in on me to make sure everything was all right. I would highly recommend MarBlue for the wonderful people, the comfortable and spotless accommodation, and the gorgeous views!

L'appartement est très confortable et se situe en bordure de plage à environ 800 mètres des restaurants de Treasure Beach. Il dispose d'une piscine privée. Les chambres sont bien décorées et confortables, et les propriétaires sont particulièrement avenants.

Tranquility and Luxury come together

The Villas at MarBlue provide a unique beachfront experience that is centred around the traveller and not a resort. You are free to come and go as you please and create opportunities to restore your health and well-being. The living is easy. We enjoyed tranquil walks on the beach but were also invited to participate in biking, crafts and shopping at a nearby resort. Axel and Andrea were welcoming hosts, without being too intrusive.

Ups and Downs

A tough review to write. MarBlue is beautiful, the people are super nice, but we had some issues. The restaurant closed in January. We had no plans to rent a car. Andrea told us the staff would be happy to "BBQ a chicken for you." My husband is pescatarian, so every time we wanted food, we walked or took a cab, usually to Jake's. This was EXTREMELY inconvenient. On our last day, the couple downstairs told us that meals had been delivered to their room (they mentioned that they were served fish). Had we been told this, we would definitely have taken advantage of it, and it would have saved us a lot of trouble (and cab fares). We ran out of cash, and there is no international ATM nearby, so we had to take a cab all the way to Black River. We were harassed by the locals when we got there. I cried the whole way back to MarBlue. We got a room upgrade when I was told of the restaurant closure, which was very nice. Our room was huge and comfortable. It was pouring rain on arrival, and rain came in the room in 3 spots in the ceiling. They cleaned it up, and gave us a free breakfast at Hold da Vibz café, which was nice. The toilet began to leak, and they fixed it immediately. Fabulous beach close by, with no rocks in the water to stub your toes on. But watch out for the undertow. It's very dangerous. Overall, we had a nice stay, but I really wish they had told us that we could have had meals in our room.

Una Villa nel paradiso

Il Marblue è un posto incantevole, direttamente sul mare con servizi degni di un albergo a 5 stelle. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dalla simpatia di Andrea che ci ha portato nella nostra Pineapple suite! Una villa bellissima, pulita e confortevole, con doppia vista piscina e poi il mar dei caraibi! le mie bambine non si tenevano più per l'eccitazione! La mattina dopo una colazione squisita servita direttamente nel patio. E' un posto incantevole, un ottima base per tutte le gite da effettuare a Treasure Beach.
