"We were supposed to pay when we arrived & they charged us hours before then. Breakfast was beyond minimal. The staff was very friendly to the gentleman in front of us, giving him lots of choices & small talk. He was short and rude with me, prompting me to pay without letting me know an amount or explanation. "

"We made a reservation with this hotel through Expedia and when we arrived they claimed our booking was cancelled. We didn't get any notification of this and it was past 10:00pm. I called earlier in the day to confirm our booking. We later found out an employee working earlier in the day attempted to charge our card (unauthorized) and check us in before we arrived. We reserved a book now pay at the property room. The night shift worker was very helpful with at least recommending another hotel...

"Outstanding room that needed a quick fix in the shower and the building engineers repaired quickly and accurately."

"Avoid this Fairfield. Our room had significant water damage (bubbling ceilings and soaked door frames). We reported it immediately, but the GM, Valerie, is now telling Marriott Corporate that 'no one ever spoke to her' in an attempt to block our refund. ​I have the timestamped emails and photos to prove otherwise. It is a sad state of affairs when a brand like Marriott allows a local GM to gaslight guests regarding structural failures. Currently considering escalating this to the Tennessee...

"The location of this property was great. Our stay was a different story. At check in no one was at the desk, I waited for close to 10 minutes before anyone helped me. I later ask for wash clothes and was told I could get them in the morning when additional staff was there. I have stayed at many hotels and have never been told to wait till tomorrow! Unfortunately no one was in the hallway with the cart in the morning nor was there anyone at the desk so we never got the wash clothes………. Listening...

"They moved us after first room smelled like wet dog. Second room someone had a bowel movement in toilet and it was there when we went in the room. Subpar and staff offered no discount. It was ok."

"Sketchy part of Memphis. The room was cold and had burn marks in the comforter. We won’t be back."

"Filthy place. Thick dust on coffee machine & vents. Mold in fridge which also leaked on the floor. Dirty shower, floor, and towels were stained. Our room was $100 for one night. Should have slept in the car."

"The checkin process is a mess and ended up assigning the same room to 2 different people. My luggage was thrown out in the corridor by another guest. I want a refund, please avoid this property at any cost"
