"We stayed at this property for 2 nights before our cruise. I would travel to Trieste just to stay here again. Close to everything- we strolled down to the downtown area which absolutely charming and walked to the train station for a day trip to Venice. The breakfast was outstanding- we’ve traveled all over Europe and we’re still talking about the chocolate croissants. There is a little fish shop across the street with authentic food from the area and the most gracious hostess. Sara at the hotel...

"We had the best welcome ever! Our car broke down and we had to find a place to spend the night and arrived late and tired to the hotel and they were super sweet and they offered us a Prosecco and little snack to relax after the car nightmare we had. We ended staying another night as the place is beautiful, the shower has the perfect pressure, the bed is comfy and the staff is so nice. ♥️"

I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic.
