"Our check-in experience at LOFT was excellent - the staff on duty gave us lots of details and information about the hotel and the city to help us settle in. Our room was absolutely spotless (thank you, Dominika!) and in the modern part of LOFT, facing towards Freedom Square and it was very quiet during our three-night stay. Breakfast was nothing short of incredible! There is a huge spread with every option imaginable (from cooked breakfast to continental options...coffee, teas, juices, bread, pastries, fruit, cheeses, yoghurts, meats, porridge, eggs, bacon - even baked beans). There is a microbrewery on site in the bar as well as a separate coffee bar opposite, both serving a restaurant menu with a wide range of dishes which are served efficiently by excellent, attentive staff (one of whom seemed to find my attempt at greetings in Slovak slightly amusing!) I would definitely stay at LOFT if I am ever in Bratislava again and would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking for a clean, modern, safe place to stay with excellent on-site dining. The hotel is located within 10mins' walk of the main bus and railway station and on the road going down to the centre of Bratislava, the old town, UFO bridge and all the major sights."

"This an easy to find hotel, located not far from the Presidential palace. It is within a 20 minute walk from the main railway station. The check in is very efficient and with excellent reception staff. They are very friendly and helpful. My room was on the 4th floor at the front of the building. This meant that it wasn't the quietest room early in the morning, as traffic noise defeats the double glazing! It also meant that it got quite warm in the afternoon, as the aircon wasn't working throughout the hotel. The room itself was well designed, clean, tidy and well maintained. As a single room, a slight lack of storage for clothes, but manageable. Bathroom was very clean tidy and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, among the best for choice and quality I have found in my travels around European capitals."

"What a beautiful boutique hotel. The hotel was charming and felt very high class. Our room was beautiful and the decor and furnishings let us know we were in Europe, which we loved. This is an excellent choice! The location is outstanding."

"Good location and nice views. Due to the sheer volume of people in the hotel breakfast can feel busy and crowded. While our hotel room was nice, there were areas of the wall that had peeling paint from damp, some cracked tiles in the bathroom and a tap in the kitchenette which was on a broken worksurface so was wobbly. During our stay our room was not cleaned and we had not put any signage on the door - so that was disappointing. As such we had to request milk from the cleaner and were met with a tone of being an inconvenience. While we had asked the opening hours of the pool upon checking in, they failed to mention the last entry time. Overall, a nice hotel but there were elements which could have been enhanced"

"This hotel looks grand from the outside and is in a really good location at the edge of the old town. The staff on reception were lovely and helpful at all times. The rooms were big and spacious. There was loads of choice at breakfast and the food was great - and if its nice - there are a few outside tables to eat. We had a really comfortable stay here"
