We walk everywhere, so we found that the location (while not right in town) was fairly easy to walk into town or to the beach, and it was quiet at night. For meals, there were a lot of markets and restaurants nearby and the hotel had an excellent breakfast. "What a special place to stay and explore the beaches in Parghelia and the Gold Coast. My room was facing the gardens with a view to the main villa and sea in the distance. All rooms have a lovely private patio where a fresh cooked breakfast was served every morning. "Eigentlich war alles okay. Aber niemand hat uns unterrichtet, dass man das Haus nur zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ein längerer Fußmarsch mit Gepäck in großer Hitze ist sowohl beim ankommen als auch beim abreisen unumgänglich. Für ältere Gäste unzumutbar!! Tropea ist ein bezauberndes Örtchen, dass man allerdings in einem Tag erlebt hat. Längere Aufenthalte sind weniger empfehlenswert."
