"The problem that dragged this review from a 4.5 down to a 2 is the manner in which corporate management has truncated normal electrical and electronic usage and enjoyment. My devices would not charge properly. The internet could not be powered properly. TV usage was narrowly controlled. "We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. "Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. "
