My second stay and on each occassion the reception were so friendly and helpful. This is really helpful to a single traveller advancing in years! They all spoke excellent English, a credit to the hotel . The breakfast was good and the restaurant food exceptional . Highly recommend

Arriving late.

We stayed overnight in preparation for a morning flight. We arrived late, and there was nothing for us to eat at that time. Some hotels have apples or other fruit at the reception desk. The bar was closing soon, but the server agreed after some coaxing to stay open a bit longer, which was very much appreciated after waiting in line at the border for six hours. The room was tiny but clean and well-kept. The morning breakfast had a variety of foods for everyone. We were disappointed that we didn't have time to explore the grounds and the rest of the facility. A pamphlet explaining the historical and present facility would have been nice.

Overnight stay , never again

Premises have a lot of potential. However hotel is very noisy and after 5am it was impossible to sleep (staff arrived to work, gardener started to cut pushes with a machine, etc) - no sound proof at all. There are nothing to plug in your electric devices. I needed to pull a huge wooden bed u the middle of the room in order to plug in my laptop and cell phone. Rooms could be styles unless there were a huge cheap carpet on the floor and gigantic empty fridge in the room. While bathroom had a separate entrance there were no slippers provided by the hotel. I could not hang my jacket anywhere as there were no hangers, no hugs available in the room. No mirror either in ther room. I was promised to get a taxi ready and ordered by reception previous night, however next morning taxi was not ordered and receptionist thought it was somehow funny that there is no electric plugs available in the rooms and it’s getting very noisy after 5am. A very unpleasant experience
