"Gion is an historic pricier section of Kyoto. When researching found this cool hotel that was both very modern and clean. Felt more like an apartment then a hotel room. I wanted an authentic experience of sleeping on the floor such as traditional Japanese style which was a mistake on my end as it killed my back but hey that was more on me. "The check-in process was very confusing and frustrating. The system seemed to have issues depending on which number was provided through the email, making it difficult to access my room smoothly. Unfortunately, the checkout process has been just as difficult. When trying to check out in the morning, I was instructed to enter the same number I used to access my room, but the system would not accept it. Because of this, I now have to wait for customer service just to complete the checkout...
