"It needs a re vamp. Re paint areas. Tidy up little things in the room. The desk was run down. The staff had to be asked to clean or tidy areas. For example coffee cups sat on small table next to pool chairs for 2 days. Also they need to get rid of the cats. It’s only gonna get worse. Cats jumping up on tables when you finish eating."

"The room service was top tier as well as the customer service was top notch. The only thing I would recommend, is being able to adjust the temperature on the aircon to be a bit lower than 22 Celsius As unfortunately it wasn’t cold enough in the hotel room. Another factor I would recommend fixing, would be the glitching on the Channels on the TV"

"Our staying in Le Manumea was great, staff were awesome the room was amazing lot of space in the room, the style of the bathroom and toilet I love it. But everyone may have different opinions about like it. My daughter loves staying there. So well done to the staff they welcome us with smile and they were very helpful. The only thing that needs to be fix properly is the curtains, just a minor fix and the hot water that runs out quick. Otherwise my next trip, I’ll book to stay there for sure....

"We only stayed one night and unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to utilise the water activities. We thought our room was lovely with its cosy deck and overlooking the beach. We loved the seating areas set up for sunny weather and had the most delicious dinner with accompanying drinks. The owners and staff were very friendly, down to earth people who made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this magic spot as it was a great location to also access the Giant Clams and Coastal lava cliff...

"The location is special and Samoa has real charm, people are genuine and friendly. Service is a little haphazard and food is not top end. Would I recommend to anyone to stay here? for the location yes 100%, and hopefully other wrinkles get ironed out in time. This has the potential to be a really great destination but it’s got a little distance to go."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the place feels very secure and safe. The bathrooms were recently upgraded and very clean and comfortable to use. The location is close to some very nice restaurants and within the compound it feels very peaceful."

"The resort does seem to be the most up market in the area but it has a long way to go before it rates as well as a 5 star resort at say, Fiji. The rooms are nice but are not regularly deep cleaned. Washing machine and shower frames all dirty. The beds are terrible, I asked for a new mattress but it was no better. They are noisy with any movement, you can feel the springs and they are very firm. The shower head holder in my room was broken, reported it and maintenance replaced the head but left...

When I checked my bank account the next day I found I had been charged substantially more than the amount confirmed in my booking. I raised the issue with reception and was told they would investigate. After receiving no response to a follow up email to reservations I eventually contacted the General Manager who resolved the issue promptly.
