"I'd like to point out that the room was clean and spacious (there were four of us). The breakfast was delicious, and they could make you an omelet or scrambled eggs upon request. Parking was also easy. But I especially want to point out that the hotel owners managed to create a truly homey atmosphere, and when I returned to my room, I felt like I was "coming home"! "View from the room was incredible! Great location for exploring Innsbruck in a day, very easy to walk around, close to many dining options and shopping. Room was very clean, staff were friendly, overall a great stay! We also utilized the secure luggage storage. However the privacy in the bathroom could be improved as it is fully glass walls and doors. "

"Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at this superb stylish hotel in an excellent location in the old town, right by the golden roof. We stayed in the rooms with a balcony, which were situated at the back, felt very peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were very clean and well thought through, with comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the variety and high quality breakfast. Would recommend this hotel."

"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"
