"I'd like to point out that the room was clean and spacious (there were four of us). The breakfast was delicious, and they could make you an omelet or scrambled eggs upon request. Parking was also easy. But I especially want to point out that the hotel owners managed to create a truly homey atmosphere, and when I returned to my room, I felt like I was "coming home"! "The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"

"Located in Zirl, and easily accessible by public transport from Innsbruck (~20 min), this is a great hotel in a scenic location. We had a double room and the views from the balcony were beautiful! Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English."
