I loved the balcony (even though I didn’t enjoy it because we were always out, it was nice to have). The location was perfect. You can walk to historic district, local market, the park. "Close to historic center. Nice small apartment with kitchen. If you're not used to Cuenca, be prepared for cold nights and no hotel has heaters. Unfortunately there was a couple of smoke detectors that kept beeping all night throughout the hotel. They do offer an included friendly breakfast at a nearby hotel restaurant. "
