"Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff on the phone when booking and confirming and while there. The bed was comfortable and the room was roomy. The air conditioning was on spot! The breakfast was just what we needed and the coffee was the best. We are already looking to come back for another family reunion in August of 2027!"

"Easy highway access. Nice staff. Nothing outstsnding, but the room was clean and th bed was comfortable. The oncluded breakfast has the choice of toast, cereal or pancakes... no fruit. Overall, reasonable for the price, but a little effort on breakfast would sway me to stay again when in town on business."

"The room was just ok. The bed was. On that great and the pillows were awful. Staff was wonderful. The location was great for driving to grab a bite or do some shopping. The place itself is old and could reallly use some updating. The elevator to the building next to main building, is at the other end of the building. So if you are upstairs you must walk to the other side, take the elevator up and then walk back to your room. Breakfast was wonderful."

"If you book through their website you can not stay unless you bring the card you book with. Which is impossible if your employer books the hotel for you while your traveling for work. Then they ask you to re-book using a third party service like Expedia and prepay so the room is available regardless of which card you bring. But, on that platform you can not add parking fees to the booking. It’s $12 a day and I’m here for a while. So even though my company is paying for the room, I am forced to...

"We had no hot water messaged the staff said they would send someone never did! We had to take cold showers and it was miserable. They didn't tell us that the cleaners only come every other so we had no clean towels after working all day. The bar was closed when we got their due to staffing issues. It was just not a good experience all around. We will be not be using Hilton for our future stays. This is not the first Hilton owned property to disappoint us."

The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Thanks, Holiday Inn staff for being so awesome :)"
