"We stayed at Highlander Mountain House for our 5-year wedding anniversary and overall the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were clean, the design and atmosphere are amazing, and the location is one of our favorites in Highlands. We also loved The Ruffed Grouse and the overall experience of the hotel. The only downside was the noise situation during our stay. The hotel was fully booked with a wedding party, and unfortunately the guests in the room next to us were extremely loud both...

"I want to give them a 10 out of 10 but the neighbors were so noisy! The neighbors stayed up partying until around midnight Saturday and Sunday. They were outside with loud music and screaming at each other. The house is the cutest place! The hosts were magnificent- we didn’t have hot water and it was fixed within the hour. I’d recommend it but just be aware if it’s a holiday weekend - the neighbors are very loud. "

"The room was great for an extended stay. We got there early and the room wasn't ready... no big deal but I don't think the cleaning crew was informed we left to give more time for cleaning and left without finishing, and not leaving some important things... toilet paper... had to request that... staff was probably wondering what we were using it for! But anything that we requested to help with our stay they tried to accommodate... would definitely stay again."

"Hampton Inn & Suites Cashiers Sapphire Valley was top notch. The entire facility was updated and very clean. I was pleased with the staff as warm, welcoming, and helpful when asked about good restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and updated. This hotel is located only a few miles from downtown Cashiers giving lots of things to do like visiting the historical Zachary-Tolbert House.
