"Great modern vibe and the lake view was as pictured. It snowed one of the nights and I flet like we were in a snow globe. Nice amenities with friendly staff and owner. Looks like the beach area is nice with 2 large shared bonfire pits. Highly recommend!! I will be back."

"This hotel is under new management. They have not a fantastic job renovating it. There is a great deal of attention paid to every detail by the manager. The rooms are very clean The beds and the linens are very clean and new they have coffee makers microwaves range in the room. They didn’t have a hot breakfast, the eggs and sausage warmers were not clean cleaned from the previous day and so they just didn’t make eggs and sausage for Sunday morning. "Super nice and simple room. Perfect for the simple town! Parking was easy and not far from the entrance. Lots of little shops, but we were there during Easter so not much of it was open. We were able to check out Cuyuna Brewing and Iron Range Eatery. Both good and friendly. Didn’t have to communicate with the staff during our stay. "

"The property smelled of pot. My room didn’t but the room showed signs of how old it was. The tub was worn out and the handicap shower head didn’t work right.
