"The bed and pillows were great and my wife really liked the texture and feel of the sheets. Given the sad trend of poorly lit hotel rooms, our room was much better than the last few places we stayed. The exercise room was over air-conditioned, especially since the outside temperature was in the 50s, and there were only three exercise machines. Breakfast was pitiful. The coffee was weak, there was no butter or jams for the toast and English muffins. The only scrambled eggs I’ve ever had worse than here was from MREs from my Army days. They did have a few bagels and cream cheese, but again, no jams or jellies. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean room with a comfortable bed for a decent price, you’ll find it here."

"This hotel is beautiful. Our room was more like a small studio apartment. We had a very nice kitchen that met all of our needs. The livingroom area had a sofa, table,ottoman, tv and a desk. Off to the side of the livingroom was a bed and 2 nightstands and off that was a large bathroom. Everything was spotless and looked new. The front desk was wonderful and answered all of our questions. Check in was smooth. They have a nice area with a pool, the mens and womans bathrooms are in the hall just outside of the pool area and they had a well equipped exercise room. I was very pleased with this stay."

"The hotel is an old building (probably early 1900's?) that has been re-tooled to work with today's more modern needs. Having said that, I don't think it hit its intended goal. Expedia notes this as a 3.5 stars - I believe that represents the hotel amenity level. In reality, it is a 2 star hotel at best. The rooms are spare, lighting is dim, bathrooms are tiny, towels are threadbare and not enough of them. The bed was comfortable, but there was not really a bedside table that worked (it was a small table, about 12"x12", no shelf). There was an outlet nearby the bed for charging. One of the two chairs in the seating area looked like it needed repair, the staff was friendly, but not overly helpful, with no phones in the rooms and spotty wi-fi at best. The TV didn't connect well to any of the entertainment apps provided. Lastly, we stayed for 3 nights and end of day 2, I had to ask about housekeeping services, as our room hadn't been attended to. The front desk staff apologized that they "missed" servicing our room and the the cleaning staff had left for the day. He brought up some clean towels. Overall, I was so underwhelmed by the hotel that I considered moving to another one."

"I was given the wrong room, the pictures advertising a lobby that doesn't exist. The area is suspicious, I'm surprised my car wasn't broken into. I think I got bit by bed bugs. Wifi was terrible. Everything listed as "included" was actually an extra fee."
