Royal Palms is nicely located, went for mini reunion with Navy vets and wives.
1st the good…. Staff was great (Becky) very helpful. Best thing about the room… the bed, very comfortable.
The bad…. If you notice on the motel pictures and description, the bathroom is omitted. It is barely functional and in some cases, not functional. The sink is tiny with a faucet that is too big to allow use when shaving or brushing teeth. The shower is roomy and very functional.
In the one bed rooms, you can literally be sitting on the toilet and have your feet in the shower due to it being that cramped. Our room was better in that we chose a 2 bed room which costs more but had more room.
Bottom line, we made it work but I am glad I am male. It was tough on the wives to get ready. BATHROOMS NEED AN OVERHAUL. and at over $1200 for 4 nights (with taxes)…..this will be our only stay here.
I will add that we stayed over the St Patrick’s day weekend so the rates were a little higher.
