"Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

"Great property, great location for privacy, good country ambience, well trained and attentive staff. Location not ideal if you want to be on walking distance of Kitale downtown. Location is ideal for maximum quite and peaceful surroundings with good conference facilities."

"It is suspected that the old manager is scamming them with the hotel.com app, they did it have my reservation or confirmation. The hotel is run down with water infiltration on the wall. Lots of mosquitos all night and super hot ( I am Canadien). Staff were very nice and accommodate me but don’t know the end of the situation with the confirmation or the old manager "
