"The staff members were all very helpful, but our room was very tiny and very warm since there was no air conditioning and only a very noisy fan that attempted to keep us a bit cool. The room was historical and unique, which we liked, but it had a few quirks. Having to insert (and keep inserted) a key card for the electricity to stay on was different, but workable once we understood how it worked. "Great location of the hotel, staff were really friendly and helpful, good choice for breakfast and places to eat just outside the door of the hotel. The area around the hotel is lovely for a walk after your evening meal and felt safe and friendly. Finding the car park is the only tricky bit but the locals are clearly used to people getting lost and were wonderful giving us directions."

"I found the front desk person very friendly and helpful. The room was good size and the bathroom was clean. However we had a few things that we didn't like. The room walls are very dirty and need a fresh painting. The sofa in the room leaned forward. The bed mattress has a stain one of the corners and I noticed that it was very dirty under the mattress. One of the lamps on the wall was broken. All of the linens and towles where very worn and need to be replace."
