"We always stay at this hotel. It's in a great spot! It does need some TLC though. I reported Saturday morning to the first shift front desk clerk about the toilet seat being loose, but I was told that I would have to change rooms. We had a conference to attend so we had to go. Upon our return I stopped by the front desk to see if the night clerk had an update about the toilet repair. She said that she had not been told about it. "This was my second week staying here, the rooms are clean and comfortable but the beds suck. The first week the customer service was superb. This week not so much. "The staff was hit or miss; at check-in, they had a hard time making keys. They chalked it up to a machine issue. Since I checked in and mind you, I was there for 14 days; one of the elevators was consistently not working, and at some point, someone had gotten stuck in there for about 20 minutes. The rooms are in decent shape, I would also add the staff is not keen on making sure they’re keeping up with housekeeping unless you continually ask The breakfast was actually probably the highlight...

"Such a beautiful hotel with the sweetest staff. Breakfast was as good as I’ve ever had at a hotel of this class. Coffee is outstanding! We needed a later checkout due to a tournament our son was playing in, and they didn’t even blink in allowing us to check out at 2:00 with no charge. I’d we ever come back to Charlotte, we would certainly stay here again!"
