"The property is in an excellent location. Many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is a bit dated in finish, and could use a freshening up. Otherwise, a very good place to spend a day or two."

"Parking is the main advantage of this hotel. Convenient location for Imperial Theatre and uptown. Hotel needs refurbishing, rooms are spartan and not well cleaned. Paid extra for a harbour view but windows look like they have never been cleaned. Curtains have holes and the single chair in the room had not been vacuumed. Paid extra for breakfast but vouchers were omitted at check-in."

"The maid service was outstanding as usual and the morning breskfast we enjoyed. Having fresh fruit and hot beverages for the guests yo enjoy is so very appreciated. The room was as always exactly what we needed. Just a small recommendation was that the mattress was a bit to soft for our liking. But, the hotel has reached out and all was taken care of and does not reflect on us returning on our next trip back to Saint John nb at the Hampton Inn. "

"Staff were helpful and friendly, room was a generous size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was on the dirty side and very dated (toilet barely flushed). The hotel offered no amenities but had a basic free breakfast. Lots of parking, however not in a walkable or convenient location. Room walls were thin but no road or outside noise present, but would be an issue with loud neighbours. Would recommend this hotel if you are budget conscious or need to stay for 1 night. Longer stays...

"I booked for 2 couples with separate rooms. Their room wasn’t very clean. Our room was inhabited with other clients as there was luggage in the room and some groceries. We were given different rooms that were upgraded which was nice, but no coffee in the rooms and refrigerator was not cleaned out as ours had an opened soft drink and out friends had an open milk coin their fridge"

"The staff was lovely but the room was very unclean. Stunk of cigarettes and there was burn holes in the bedding. Empty alcohol bottles and cans everywhere. We left immediately. The staff was lovely and looked defeated. My heart goes out to them but I couldn't stay there with my immune compromised husband and children "

"The host was accommodating and helpful. I appreciated the kitchen, as it let me stay in and relax over the weekend. Kitchen had an apartment-sized fridge and freezer, full-size stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee pot. As well, there were lots, a frying pan, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Bathroom had towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Smart TV with Rogers basic cable. Bed was ok for one person. Neighbourhood was quiet. Parking on site. "

"I was given a nice big room on the main floor with access to the outside with nice lawn chairs outside the door. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great clean room and very good service 👌"

"Based on other guests we saw at this place, it is not recommended for kids, would look elsewhere. If you are adults who need a stop for the night, it's fine. Try to stay closer to the road, like Room 1. Rm 1 is louder due to secondary road traffic (not too bad) but removed from other-guest interference/ noise. Am thinking it's good for a couple of guys on motorcycles who are passing through. Found one large bug, but only one."
