"Front desk staff were unfriendly. Breakfast just ok. Fridge broken and leaked water over kitchen floor. Toilet barely flushed, and then plugged. The sitting area in the room is lovely but the ensuite bathroom is not a 5-star bathroom. It's dated and the towel hanger on the wall is coming loose. The ensuite closet is also dated. These things wouldn't be as bad if the hotel wasn't advertised as 5 star. The best quality is the maintenance fellow who came to fix the fridge and toilet is a lovely,...

"Terrific staff and wonderful cooked breakfast each morning. Love the ease of parking next to the property on the street. Great location to walk to attractions and restaurants. Just a few blocks from welcome center to meet buses for tours, Founders Food Hall and Market, and Peaks Quay. Close walking distance to Confederation Center of the Arts."

"Pour le prix payé..je dirais que ce n’est pas à la hauteur du tout. Le déjeuner était vraiment médiocre, le matelas et les oreillers que dire..mon fils a terriblement mal au cou depuis la 1ère nuit. Si j’avais déboursé 250$ la nuit je n’aurais pas écrit de commentaires toutefois, à 500$ la nuit, je suis vraiment fâchée. Cela n’a aucun sens de payer ce montant pour ce genre d’hôtel!!!!"

"If you’re charged for anything extra, you will not know until you go home and happen to check the credit card. It won’t be mentioned at check out at all. If you need to talk to management, they will simply ignore your message and will not respond at all."

"The hotel is located close to downtown so it’s perfect walking distance to bars, shops and the theatre. The omelette station, Starbucks coffee, hot and cold breakfast areas were a nice touch. There are a couple of nice sitting areas in the lobby. Everything seems well spaced out. Having a spa on the premises is great however, we were unable to get an appointment. The only thing that I would change is the quality of the toilet paper because it’s irritating."

"The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space."
