I would need to be fair with Hotel Beausite. The positive things were the breakfast and some of the staff that tried to serve me well with my personal requests. However, I rated low because first there was an issue with the lights on the room. They did not work well and went off and on until an electrician came fast after my request, and made it work. The second problem was I paid and booked for two adults and one child, and the staff at the front desk did not acknowledge that on my booking, and I was asked (almost forced) to pay an extra CHF 30 for the additional adult. Although I presented all the invoices given by Expedia, the hotel never accepted my booking as I did with Expedia. This is an issue between Expedia and the hotel, and none of them was able to sort it out. They threw the ball of responsibility to each other, and I was never given back the CHF 30 for the extra adult/bed that was supposed to be included. Expedia told me that I had to call back the hotel since the extra fee was paid outside the Expedia booking and it was clear to me that if I had called the hotel, my request of reimbursement would have been turned down again since it seems the staff is well trained to dodge customers’ complaints. I witnessed other clients complaining at the front desk and the answer was "the manager is not present" (the same answer I was given to me). The hotel is good in general, but these two issues with my stay in the hotel really downgraded my review.
