"The staff were excellent- very helpful and efficient- absolutely first rate. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and WOW. The room amenities are good - very nice having a tumble drier (for the towels)! No view, but didn’t expect one. No bar or restaurant but don’t need one as so many great places to eat and drink nearby. A nice, functional hotel in a great location and wonderful staff."

"Older hotel, which is showing its age (dings, chipped paint). Best feature is proximity to CBD and the Harbourside walk. Not many people staying there but we didn’t get a Harbourview room. $30/day parking. Quiet. Small fridge and kettle, instant coffees/hit choc/teas, no microwave or other way to warm food. Small balcony with views of surrounding hills/neighborhoods. Good wifi."

"We took the offer of an upgrade. When we entered the room there was a note and a bottle of wine from the hotel staff. This an extremely pleasant surprise. I thanked the duty staff then and I thank them now."
