"William and his family are wonderful ppl. Their place is located in the heart of Peru, and believe me when I say they have a big heart and will make sure your stay is special! His dad Filipe is an amazing cook, and his mom makes amazing souvenirs. Of course it is rustic, but this is what we came for. Their home is only a 20-min drive from the 7 Lagunas trek, which I highly recommend! William has a driver he can call if needed. If you are looking to experience spending time at some locals and disconnect, this is the RIGHT place for you. "

"This hotel was completely misrepresented online. There is no spa, no sauna, no spa, no breakfast, no restaurant. The suite was dirty, there were no towels, no shampoo, conditioner or body wash, no hot water in the shower and there was standing water in it when we went to turn it on. The sink would not drain. The jacuzzi tub took over 40 mins to fill after we got hot water. Then it would not turn on, once we got someone to help us turn it on (they had to go downstairs and turn on a breaker) the water shot out tons of black stuff from the jets. We sent multiple messages asking for help and they simply quit responding. Then there was a huge party on the first floor that was so loud we could here it with clarity from our third floor room with the door closed; this went on well past midnight and we had to get up and leave for an excursion at 3:30 AM. This was a horrible experience and I'm completely disappointed with how grossly misrepresented it is online. "
