"Although it was not easy to drive to the resort from Dar es Salaam (especially with our RAV4), our family had a wonderful stay there and is definitely willing to go back there. As many reviews of Tripadvisor already mentioned, the foods in the resort were fantastic. Grandparents, me and my husband, and our children (5 & 3 years old) all waited for the next meal time to taste something new and joyful. We had a boat trip to Mangroves which was very next to the resort which didn't cost a lot but...
"It is in a very bad condition. Past splendor. No guests, only one person in kitchen, they dont know about Expedia and we have to pay extra. Expedia gave money back. Matrress very poor, Eating dinner and breakfast okay."
"Greatest experience in Kendwa. Big thanks to the staff that was wonderful.
We loved hanging out with Thimothee he gave the best service we ever had. "
"For the price, we think this property could be better maintained. We had a leak in our sink that was unable to be fixed during our stay. The room could have been cleaner overall. However, the location was great on the beach and the food at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced. "
"It’s an excellent place for people on low budget No bells and whistles but very comfortable and the staffs are very helpful polite courteous and friendly In short this place is very informal and it’s location is like you are on a paradise island "

The pool is very small and the beach in front of the hotel is not for swimming since it’s where the fishing boat are parked there (but the view is very nice). The room was ok, but very minimalistic (not in a cute way, i.e. no seating in the room) and the...
"The hotel is a modest hotel. Practically on the beach which is a big plus.breakfast is ok, nothing to brag about. Make sure you reserve a room with a/c, during the summer it's hot and the humidity is sky high
The Wi-Fi is the worse, I had to go to the waves restaurant next door to connect ."
