The staff here were amazing. The room is nice and large and the fridge was a decent size too
The property has a club and their main income is from groups booking it for parties and also on Fridays they have a DJ from 4pm so you wouldn't want to stay here over the weekend
The day we checked in there was a party going on and the music was terribly loud. We had been travelling the whole day so were very tired. The loud music was supposed to finish at 11pm but went on to nearly 11:45 and we simply couldn't sleep. Thankfully there were no more parties booked in for the next two nights
We did know it was far from the Centre of Colombo but didn't realise that it was in an area where it was difficult to get a tuktuk to go into town from here.
The mattress protector had disintegrated which they did remove and clean up the place but it did all take time. It is something that they could have changed/checked this ahead of time. They only had two guests staying at the hotel.
The hotel was doing renovation in the reception area so all surfaces were covered with dust. Despite having a dedicated cleaning person at the property they did not have him clean it until the last day
The towel rail in the bathroom was broken which they did fix but it all takes time and we had to wait for them to do that.
The floor tiles are particularly slippery in this place
the staff were lovely and helpful
