The hotel is found along a track of the main road and sits on the shore front which is made up of mangroves and is not suitable for swimming, though water activities like kayaking are available. The premises are guarded and guests are escorted to the parking areas and thence to the front desk for check-in. "The Calayo resort itself where we stayed is good including the staff, there is a swimming pool, so if you will not like to swim in the dirty sea you have the option. The downside is that there is no wifi and some of the facilities like shower, cabinets are broken."
