I never stated in a hotel in the middle of a mall before. It’s just outside the train station. Breakfast is a madhouse if you dont get up early. Room was pretty small, but comfortable. Small gym but no other facilities.

We have been coming here every year since they first opened. It is in the mall so anything you could possibly need, you can get without even going outdoors. However, Utrecht is a wonderful city with fabulous restaurants and very walkable. The mall is directly next to the Central Train station so we got a Chipkart (debit card for the transit system) the first year and have reloaded as needed. You can take all forms of transportation with it by tapping in when you enter and tapping out as you leave. So convenient and time saving. From Utrecht you can easily travel anywhere in the Netherlands by public transportation. I recommend you do not rent a car. Walk and use the public transportation and you will see so much more and avoid having to pay for expensive parking wherever you go.

Next door to the train station and located inside the mall. Easy to find. Seems new. Everything was comfortable and modern. Easy walk to the canal, food, shops, and whatever you want to do.

Central location

Hampton by Hilton is located a short covered walk from the main station. It is located in a shopping centre with lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. The room was small but well situated.

Pros -Very convenient location near Utrecht central train station, inside a big shopping mall, right next to the old town, everything is reachable in steps away distance. -Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, breakfast is better than some hotels we've seen elsewhere. Cons -no mini-fridge in the room -room is smaller than you would expect from the pictures

Perfect location, comfortable, great breaky

This was our last stop on a 12 day trip through the Netherlands using the rail system. Have sayed in many types of accommodations - have to say, this is a great option for Utrecht. The room was very comfortable, comfortable bed, big windows, bathroom well designed, big shower. You literally walk out of the train station and into an enormous elegant mall. 6-7 minutes on smooth surfaces makes this an easy arrival/departure in any weather. Check in was excellent: offered to store our luggage as we got there early, but then found a room ready so we got in early! Don't remember the young man's name (from Madrid) but he was very helpful and welcoming. Room key required to access room floor is a nice touch. Given it's in a busy building, amazingly quiet. Breakfast is typical Hampton: really nice buffet with hot & cold options, comfortable breakfast room. Chek out: they weren't super busy & invited to keep the room longer, alowing us to get lunch, come back to pack up before heading for trains. All in all a great choice for anyone coming to Utrecht for a couple nights.
