"Restaurant food for breakfast and dinner was amazing. Very friendly staff. Swimming pool is very small but nice to relax. Newly deluxe huts are good but need light on balcony. Couldn't use outside bath because it was dark. Free yoga, mediation and Pilates were all good. Massage were good. Gel nail chip already after one day. Disappointing. Nails could be better. Agonda beach is beautiful, clean and a lovely place to stay. "

"Reasonable stay but not to the standard promised. Our room was large with sea view (through trees and past golf course) but it was quite dated. Breakfast was very poor; food generally was mediocre and over-priced. Hot and cold jacuzzis in spa were not working (allegedly due to maintenance but no work was being done). Most poor was that one of the four restaurants was not open; we were told that they only open it when they have enough bookings and that it serves the same food as another restaurant (this is not what it says on their website). "

"Our stay at Gateway was amazing! The resort location is perfect and there is an hotel shuttle that can bring you to the nearest beaches at almost anytime. The service was excellent. "Everything in life is about expectations. I’m not quite sure why this is described as a resort or a spa since it’s neither. It’s basically a very lively and quite fun karaoke bar with accommodation at the end of the path (you don’t hear the karaoke so that’s not a problem). Location is super convenient for the beach. Rooms are basic and the finishing is pretty wretched. But it does the job. As long as your expectations are modest and you are open-minded, you’ll be fine. It is however comically expensive for what it is (for a proper resort experience visit CGH on Om Beach). "
