"This hotel was too far away from the city. Originally I didn’t think that was an issue, however on the first day, a taxi driver charged us 1200 reales from the bus station to the hotel. Complete rip off! This made us concerned about the amount of money we would be spending on transportation to and from the hotel daily.
The bedding was horrible. Hard mattress, pillows and two flat sheets.
It was not the cleanest. The breakfast buffet had flies around the food.

"This property urgently needs a renovation in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is very old and have mold in the room and bathroom. The towels are extremely old, like the sheets that barely cover the mattresses, not to mention that if you don't know Rio de Janeiro, this property is very far from the city's tourist attractions, it’s located on the part of the mountains and when it rains it is extremely dangerous. My husband and I found us self in very dangerous position.

Informei que era comemoração de aniversário de namoro, por isso já queria a hidro cheia e quentinha quando chegasse e também taças para beber um vinho que estava levando, e deixaram uma cartinha junto com tudo pronto e organizado para gente! Nos sentimos muito bem, espaço amplo silencioso, vista incrivel e cama maravilha!"

"Breakfast was only coffee with milk, some old bread, old cheese, papaias and bananas. Many kids at the pool yelling early in the morning. Staff rude and not helpfull. "
"What a great find. Historic building so has some of the features of being older such as smaller rooms. However, very cool building and aesthetics. Good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. "
"A Pousada é bem rústica, o café da manhã é gostoso com produtos frescos. Eu peguei um quarto próximo a recepção e tinha bastante barulho na parte da manhã por parte das pessoas que passavam e a noite dos hóspedes que ficam no lounge, mas de resto…tudo ótimo!"
