"Very nice little hotel. In a quiet area so not really walking distance from anything but taxis easily available. Our room was good, however, it was literally just a wooden door between our room and the restaurant which was a surprise so we could hear everything going whilst it was open. Lovely breakfast which changed every day. "

"The room was excellent. Loved that every cabin had a little porch on the front on which the guests could relax. I came to the beach resort to finally have some days without hiking or exploring and it was perfect for getting away from the crowds that exist elsewhere in Costa Rica. It felt like the beach was private. There enough other guests there to keep any lonely vibes away but it was so peaceful. "This location was amazing! We just walked to the park from there. It made it less stressful. We just played at the beach right outside the hotel and loved the pool after each time. "The hotel can be challenging if you have mobility issues as there are no elevators but they have carts if you need them on the steep inclines. Good location, beach is nice and not as hard to get to as some reviews said. Breakfast was great and included. Meals were good but I recommend venturing out for a few meals. La Cantina didn't disappoint. Loved our stay overall and would come back."
