I did not ask in advance, however we were the first guests and the breakfast room was completely empty.)"

"This is a guest house rather than a standard hotel, although it has standard amenities. Situated in the countryside near Chenonceau castle, the property is located in a former mill house bordering the Cher river, which some rooms overlook. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping pong and access to paths along the riverside. The staff is welcoming, informed, and extremely helpful, especially with advice about restaurants and activities in the area....

"Hôtel ancien à proximité du château de Chenonceau. Parking et piscine appréciés. Petit déjeuner buffet varié. Personnel avenant et accueillant . Reste cependant que l’hôtel ne comporte pas d’ascenseur et que pour des personnes âgées cela peut être problématique car les escaliers sont étroits."
