"This was, by far, the nicest hotel we stayed at during our two weeks in Greece. The hotel, facilities, landscaping, customer service, exceeded beyond five stars. We will be back again for our next visit."
"We went to this place (family with two teenagers), solely on the Expedia feedback that people had written - initially it was not on even on our route.
You should go too!
It is beyond stunning - the view is like nothing else! the villas have everything you may need (even had coffee, tea, jam, olive oil, butter and water to get you started) and an uninterrupted view of the most gorgeous sea. kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas and basic snorkeling gear was available - everything is clean and neat!
The family who runs the hotel are just amazing!
Two things to know, you have be a pretty good driver and have legs that work - you get the view, as it sits on a very steep hill.
Things I wish I had brought with me: beach shoes (it’s a little rocky at the beginning of the water) and I would have loved some over sized beach towels."
"Quiet and secluded. The view of the mountains reminded me of the Smokey Mountains. All the rooms are facing the mountains and either have a patio or deck with a small table and chairs. This family run business was very friendly and helpful. The property was a bit hard to find in the village but once located we were able to find it again and again very easily. Look for signs on buildings. There is no address listed on Expedia only the name of the village. If you're looking for a place to just relax and get away from it all after sightseeing, this is the place. No amenities but a relaxing view of the mountains with a glass of wine while you wait for your dinner to be prepared. "
"Great place, very friendly and inviting. Clean with great pool and amenities. The owner is very friendly and helpful and made our stay fantastic.
The view is beautiful."
"What a wonderful experience. Tyros is a must see town on the coast. Quiet, picturesque and calming. This hotel makes you feel special. 5 star service from all of their staff. The room was super comfortable with a great bed (best of 8 hotels in Greece). Daily breakfast included fresh squeezed OJ, hot rolls, fresh fruit and a nice selection of eggs, meat and cheeses. Great coffee too, all served on their roof top terrace. What a view. Will be back in the future with the grand kids. The ocean is mere feet away with an ocean front boulevard chock a block full of restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. "
Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Varvitsa, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Varvitsa?
While you're exploring the area, Astros Beach and Agios Andreas Beach are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. Ancient Sparta and The Menelaion are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Varvitsa like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Varvitsa. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll have all the comforts of home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can offer a sense of security away from public hotel lifts and busy lobbies while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for small groups.
