Do not stay here

We arrived about 7pm to be told we had no room even though I had a confirmation of the booking. Was repeatedly hung up on and my calls also ignored. They also ignored hotels.com when they called to also help. Veliko was very busy and we would've been without a room for the night had a local old lady not overheard our problems and offered to help us find a bed for the night - thankfully she spoke English! Do not recommend as this is totally unacceptable service and very worrying for people unfamiliar with the area and not speaking the language

Do not book! Arrogant and rude owner!

Don’t book this hotel. We arrived at the property at 6:30pm, and there was nobody on premises to welcome us. We called the phone number listed and we were told that we had no reservation. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and arrogant. She blamed us that we haven’t called her in advance to confirm the reservation- who does that? She said that she hasn’t been working with hotels.com for a long time and that it was not her fault that she didn’t have our reservation. She was not cooperative nor willing to accommodate us. She gave me a horrible attitude on the phone. Luckily, we were able to find another place to stay. Do not book this hotel!

Perfect place to stay

Great place to stay in Veliko Tarnova. It is very close to the Tsarvets, in the heart of the old town area surrounded by shops and restaurants. Fresh coffee in the morning. Family owned hotel, owner was wonderful. 200 year old building but updated/remodeled rooms. View amazing.

I have arrived in the front of the hotel with my family and the lady who is working there told us that we are not expected in their hotel as we don't have any booking....we have called the hotel and they closed us the phone...we were forced to search for another hotel
