"We had a room overlooking the water. It would have been great to sit on the balcony with a morning cup of tea. But it must be the first hotel in the Netherlands that doesn't have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Very disappointing. The bathroom had been renovated and was nice and modern. It had a huge sink but no counter space for toiletries etc. The lighting was very poor and not bright enough for shaving, applying makeup etc. Despite that, we will be back when the weather is...

"The room was spotless, very nicely arranged, and everything possible was thoughtfully provided. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfasts were excellent, and the location is ideal with lots of independent shops nearby. We will head back here next time we come to Amsterdam. "

"The staff was very attentive and cordial. The rooms are lovely, clean, with an incredible location. If you eat at the bar/restaurant…the pasta and hamburger are delicious. And the focaccia… leaves your mouth watering. You have to order it with the tomato-feta dish. The gym was on the smaller side , but we usually had it for ourselves. It has a handful of cardio machines and upstairs, a good selection of weights with a bench and bands. There was also a TV with workouts you could choose from....
