"I like the hotel, and its pool and breakfast are decent with reasonable prices. The only let down (which isnt really Hotel's fault, it's more Budapest in general) is the buses dont accept card payment yet and so the easiest public transport to the hotel isnt really usable for most tourists. (Bus 15)
It will be helpful if the hotel notice guests on this or lobby government for this change. I thoroughly enjoyed a completely cash-free city break in Budapest, and hopefully next time we visited the...

"Room cleanliness acceptable , but could do with renovation in near future, staff very good, amenities also vey good
Decent choice for breakfast, meals and wine prices on par with other European city breaks (expensive)
Spa we only used one of the pools and the single jacuzzi is big enough for 6 only
Would we return, possibly however be prepared for some walking or get the Budapest Go app and use the very good public transport system , we are both in our 60’s and managed fine"

"The room, breakfast area, and main floor bathrooms were super clean. The breakfast had some of the best selection, best fresh fruit, and coffee we have had in the last 6 hotels in Romania and Hungary. Service at the desk and at breakfast washrooms excellent. The water refill in the breakfast area was wonderful as we opted for fizzy ice cold water. The location is perfect to see all of the important sites within walking distance. Beer at the bar was expensive, but they had a promo on to soften...

"We had a problem with the room on check in which was in the end resolved fairly well but we did initially get a somewhat aggressive response from one of the staff members making it our issue, which was corrected through her manager later. Overall the room was nice with a fantastic view and the breakfast buffet was varied and tasty, with quick service. Great location, although you can tell this hotel needs maintenance and repairs."

"The Michelin‑starred Costes Downtown located on the lower level was a welcome bonus. Our room was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details such as magnets to keep the heavy drapery securely closed. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable.
However, the front‑desk agent wrote down an incorrect room number at check‑in, which caused unnecessary inconvenience at a point when we were already exhausted. The relaxation room also felt underwhelming.
We were traveling as part of a group...
