"The hotel was very nice with basic amenities in the room. It would have been nice if the cafe downstairs was open for breakfast (not only at 11 AM).
Also, the AC unit in our room was not functioning very well. I had to advise the front desk three times before the problem was fixed properly.
Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay."
"The motel was very clean very convenient and the people running it were very nice and very helpful. We had a newborn with us for five nights and everything worked out great, the kitchen and the room was really nice to have and the space in the unit was ample. The location of the motel is perfect for someone wanting to have a home base and explore Prince Edward island."
"The location was ideal to easily visit lighthouses and areas without having to go through Charlottetown. I also loved the breakfast, delicious. The staff was warm and friendly."
"We had a wonderful stay in Charlottetown at The Great George. This is really a unique hotel, and I have never stayed anywhere quite like it. The hotel really compromises a ~block of historic downtown buildings and homes that have all been renovated and converted into modern hotel rooms. It combines the best of all worlds - location right in the middle of everything, historic charm, and modern amenities and I couldn't recommend this hotel more. The parking was free and available, the room large, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. We loved and noticed all the extra's (heated bathroom floor, extra seating, secure entrance, fast and easy internet, large TV with extensive channel collection). The lobby is wonderful and inviting, and although we didn't get to experience the breakfast (too busy in PEI!) it smelled great. Loved the tea and coffee bar, wine gatherings, cookies. I couldn't rent this hotel highly enough and am looking forward to our next visit."
