"The location was wonderful and the view of the water out the back door was beautiful. Bed was comfortable and Belfast is so close to go to eat or shop. I would stay here again if I came back. The only negative feedback was our back door to our deck was rotted on the bottom and was very difficult to shut. We had to forcibly push on the door to shut it completely. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We booked this hotel last minute, and the availability may have been an indicator of what to expect. Check-in was quick and easy, which was appreciated. Upon arrival, the parking lot and exterior appearance were somewhat concerning, as the area looked a bit run-down and parking seemed unorganized. "This was the most high-end glamping experience, ever. Every single detail was thought of. The cabins smelled fresh, heated bathroom doors, the main lodge was warm and inviting - full of tchotchkes that you want to take home. The staff were beyond lovely and super helpful with suggestions. 10/10 stay that I’d recommend to anyone. Looking forward to our next stay!"

We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. "We LOVED our 4 day stay at Fort Knox Inn! Great location, Great Views, Friendly Staff, comfortable Beds, Great water pressure! We Loved visiting the Fort, The Bridge and walking path by the Inn on our down day. The Bathroom could use a vent, but older building so may not be doable. Not a deal breaker for us. Also, since there is no Continental Breakfast a Kurig Machine or other FREE coffee machine in the lobby in the mornings would be wonderful since the ones in the room are way too small. Or if...
