"Check-in staff was welcoming and professional. The place was clean. However, I would definitely not rate this resort anymore as luxury for these reasons - no attention to detail such as lack of maintenance in hotel and surrounding (broken bathroom doors, screens not fitting in windows properly, deck glass was moldy and rundown so didn't sit outside, children's play area was not safe and equipment not all put together, room was outdated and old with mismatched material for headboard and chairs, lack of organic/natural products in bathroom, no extra products like small bottles of soap, conditioner, shampoo, etc on bathroom shelf, plastic cups for beverages, no extra's in room e.g. snacks, welcome note, flowers, one small table with coffee maker and tea kettle with short cord so had to be plugged in the bathroom (really!). Everything was sterile and not inviting . Massage was excellent but not enough staff on. Hot tub was dangerous to get into, dirty and not warm. We stayed here multiple times 15 years ago and this hotel is not worth the money now. Not going back. And we met other couples who felt the same way."
