"Staff is great. Unbeatable breakfast. Pools are nice but hot tub leaves a lot to be desired in size and cleanliness. Multiple issues with sinks/bath/electrical (sink didn’t drain, constant overhead light flickering) we had to call maintenance about. They were very responsive but I didn’t get the sense that they were checking things proactively or reporting issues internally as they came up. Great location along the river greenway."

"Staff: at check in, demanded a $50 cash deposit. Additional $20 for our dog Nothing on their website. Non smoking room that the whole floor smelled like smoke. Furnishings out of a 1970's college dorm. Holes in the wall above headboard. Toilet not anchored. Mold in grout in tile floor. The shower head was an original shower massage that was broken. Just gross. Total dump."

"We love Hotel 43. The location is perfect for downtown or a trip to the university. It is always clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful."

"Clean and no frills. Parking is tight. The bed is tiny and firm. Bathroom was great. It’s a tiny home experience. I thought the price was great. It’s noisy outside on the street and we saw two people hit into the building next door. Just be careful parking. Air conditioning took some navigating. "

"Worst hotel ever. Fan made a loud noise, non-smoking room smelled of smoke with burn holes in the comforter. Hair all over the sheets and pillows, food left in the fridge, no bathroom mirror, tub with constant flow of water and barely functioned, no toilet paper holder, garbage and blood stains in tub, crumbs on floor, no lamps worked in the main area probably because of no extra plugs, pillows were very lumpy, mattress was very used and sagged in spots, the comforter was very old and had holes and tears, and very small old and thin towels. When we checked in they had to call their supervisor because somehow they cancelled the reservation. The supervisor was hard to get a hold of and hung up on them once. I would never recommend this place to anyone."
