For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

"Borgia di Firenze shares the building with other properties. It is central to everything, so convenient. We were serenaded every night with an opera singer practicing his craft in the square. Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. Did not know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. We’ll stay here again when we return to Florence. Hopefully...

We had the family deluxe room with 1 double bed (which were 2 twins pushed together- not a big deal for us) and 2 twins pushed together beds, one for each of my teenagers.
